Releasing player from contract
Trying to release a couple of players who seemingly I would have little chance of selling on the market.
Current squad size 22 players - says "board requires a minimum of 17 players" as an error message when I try and release them?

have you got some players on less than a year contracts or retiring as i think it takes this into account

Have just checked and perhaps that is the answer - have got 5 players who have their contracts due to expire in around 50 days so I guess it is taking that into account. Thanks for your help!
