Scout retiring but I have a message to renew his contract.
I have a scout (Alex Sinnet) who has 4 days left on his contract.
Today I had a message to look at his contract for renewal but, when I click on the link it states he is retiring at the end of the season and there is no contract renegotiation section.
Has anyone experienced this before?
If so, please advise.

I have this lots of times. There's nothing you can do, he's retiring and that's it (despite the message to renew his contract, that's a display bug).

Either pay up his contract or wait until he retires before placing a new advert.

I already had a vacancy search in progress to replace him.

Yeah. I?ve got a days overlap.
Unfortunately I?m not going to get one with his rating though.

Well at least your advert shouldn't disappear...

Hopefully not as I?ve got another scout who?s got a couple of days left. He?s lower rated so I might be able to replace him.

Well applicants came back today and it?s not as bad as I thought.
Negotiating with two scouts and will overall gain one point.
But it?s a plus!
