Removing a player
Can you also just remove a player or players from your
squad without going through the transfer? What also happens if there
is no interest in your player when you put him up for sale?
He just stays on the squad?

Removing a player from your squad without a transfer you have to pay up his contract.
A player not sold goes back into your squad again.

Thanks I appreciate the answer. What is the process of just removing the player
and paying off his contract?

Go to Squad -> Squad Manager

Then click on the number in the "Con" column for your player. (This is the number of days remaining on the contract)

You see the player's contract. At the bottom, there is a button "Terminate Contract".
