Below will be posted a list of those clubs, managers and players who have been chosen to be worthy of induction to the hall of fame.

The worthy inductees have been selected by a vote of the induction panel for the nominated parties from this thread. If you have a nomination to make, please post it there for consideration.

So, back to the matter in hand, the most worthy names in IAG history are:

So, welcome one and all to the first induction ceremony for the IAG Hall of Fame! Today we recognise the best in IAG's history with the first inductees being named.

From the best managers and the best superclubs to the best players, each has more than earned their place in history and here we honour them...

Clubs

Great Mu

Great Mu, along with our next inductee club dominated the early seasons of IAG with 3 IAG Super Cup wins in the first 10 seasons. They were one of the first super clubs in IAG and have a whole string of trophies behind them. Great Mu were also the first club to complete the 2nd tier of their stadium and have been one of the financial giants of the game since the very beginning. They are legends of the game and name that everyone knows, and fears.

Ciudad de La Habana

Ciudad have also collected 3 IAG Super Cup wins along with many other titles. Ciudad dominated the first game decade not just on the pitch where they recorded an unbeaten streak of over 256 league games (so long in fact that the game stopped counting!), but in the transfer markets too. Many transfer records were set and a frightening squad assembled as the club set new standards of training. The most recognised name in IAG history and the club all others are measured against.


For years these two clubs were the pinnacle of the game and both richly deserve their places in the Hall of Fame.

Managers

NRiggs

#1 manager until the day he retired, NRiggs "left all others trailing in his wake". He built his club into one of the greats of the game and on the foundations NRiggs built the club still stands as the strongest in Eros. With 226 wins in 255 games NRiggs set a precedent for consistent quality which has seldom been matched since. In 4 1/2 seasons NRiggs won every division he was in, including the Premiership twice, collected 4 League Cups and sat proudly, untouched, at the top of the manager rankings.

Hatuay

Taking over the top spot in the rankings after NRiggs' exit, Hatuay led the way until his own departure late in season 12. With 3 IAG Super Cups, 5 Premierships and 6 League Cups under his belt during his 12 season reign, as well as that 256+ unbeaten league run, Hatuay set new heights in club and manager ratings. Hatuay was not only successful on the pitch but a master of the transfer market. Able to locate and secure the players he needed for the right price and acutely aware of the right time to sell. A somewhat outspoken manager, Hatuay regularly featured in the community and always gave at least as good as he got.

Cookiemonster

Cookiemonster left his mark on IAG in a different way. A member of the Admin team, Cookiemonster was dedicated not only to playing the game but to making it as enjoyable as possible for everyone else. Whilst a very competent manager Cookiemonster (or 'Cookie' to most of us) is inducted as much for his contribution to the community as for his managerial abilities. Cookiemonster created and administered the 'Friendly' Cup that bears his name. A source of enjoyment for many other managers, this cup creates a buzz around the game and is the premier friendly cup. Despite his departure from teh game, Cookie will always be remembered for his fun, friendly and helpful contributions to the forums as well as the legacy he left us.

Players

Arpad Kelemen - Striker

Kelemen is the most famous of names amongst IAG players. A top notch striker Kelemen won it all with Ciudad de La Habana and then went on to lead the scoring charts with Blakedown Blues as well. At last count (anyone have final figures?) Kelemen had bagged 400 goals in 311 games for a ratio of 1.3 goals per game which a good ratio in any book and even better considering that at least half his career was spent sharing the limelight with a partner up front. The subject of more than one record transfer fee, Kelemen was a player who terrorised defences up and down the game.

Jim Watkins - Centre back

Jim is one of the most experienced players IAG has ever seen. He served White Hart Winners for most of his career, having graduated from the youth academy on day 46 of season 1 (9th December 2006).

In his first season as captain Jim lifted the Premiership and League Cup trophies! Despite his lower than perfect overall rating he went on to be the rock at the heart of WHW defence for years, collecting 8 Premiership winners medals, 4 League Cup winners medals and a host of other medals for friendly and reserve competitions.

The Bosses

RonManager and BigBoss, commonly known as 'The Bosses', were the creators of IAG, to whom we all owe a massive thank you! They made the game we all love and they keep it going in the face of constant challenges and distractions for little or no reward or thanks. Without Ron and BB where would we be?

Whilst both have other calls upon their time they managed to build this wonderful game. Many years ago they tempted us with the first version of IAG which was somewhat more simplistic in it's gameplay but which still had many many people engrossed in it daily. As the limitations of that version became clear 'the bosses' set to work on re-inventing the wheel. Not only were they putting together a new and improved version of IAG but in the process they developed something which was a true challenge of a manager's abilities, unlike any other online management game.



Vacant (Caretaker)
