Not able to update my forum post
This morning I posted in my local forums and wanted to edit it slightly. I immediately pressed "edit" to do so, did my edits and hit "submit", but all that happened was that it went back to how my original post looked in the editing box. All changes were lost.
I tried a few times and it did it every time.
Is this just me or is this a bug?

Just tried it here too and it did the same.
(When I said hit "submit", I meant hit "update".)

I've just tried on a number of posts, including this post and its worked perfectly fine as it should do.
Will be interesting if anyone else has this problem or not. You could try the simple things, clearing cookies/cache etc and see if that helps.

Sounds like a restart to me. Let me do that and report back.

Strange. Could be an issue with what browser you are using, or that you are using a Mac. Would be good to find out from another Mac user if they experience the same issue

For the record, I'm on a Macbook Pro running OS X El Capitan v10.11.4, using Safari v9.1.

Happened to me the other day too. I thought it was a one-off, so I just moved on. I'll try it again here...

Nope, not working for me either.
It's not a browser issue either it would appear, as I'm on Edge.

I found this same problem yesterday, too.
I tried a few times to edit a post but when I pressed the "update" button, I saw the text just reverted to its original version..
