Promoted a 86 gk today, excellent for me as I was desperate for a goalie. The main issue is that he will be 36 before he's maxed out

Sounds good to me. I would take that mean there is still plenty of room for him to improve.

Ironically I've just had the exact same message about my 13 year old goalkeeper. He's been stuck at 40 for a whole season. I will give him another season and see if he improves any. If not he is out the door.

Ha, I thought it might mean he was a long way away from being any good! Well, he'll probably get another season unless the scouts turn up a wonderkid

A unicorn at last! Carlos Couto (GK) got to 100/100/100 a few days ago, and I let him turn 18. Good news has just come!

and very nice. hoping my 2 creative midfielders turn out as nice in a 2-4 seasons time.
Both currently 14 and 1 is 61 rated while other is rated 46, but I think both quite well balanced although they have strayed a little.

Well my star defender I've had in my academy for 4 season just promoted. I was very excited as he is the best youth I've had, he was rated 95 in the YA.

Am not at all impressed with his stats now he has joined though. Was hoping for an all 90's star and he's not even close! He was well balanced and looked like he would be fantastic, what a let down. Will I ever get a unicorn?

This one is boiling up nicely now - 97/97/97 at age 17. Might even improve further before his birthday.....

My YA is useless at the moment, I've not found one youth worth adding to it in the last two seasons. Need my scouts to pull their fingers out.

That's really disappointing for you as the issue with poor attributes on promotion was supposed to be fixed. I had at least three like that but they were all signed to academy before the fix. Since then, they've been ok, certainly not that much under expectations anyway.

Are you sure he was in your academy for 4 seasons and not longer?
